The Power of Collaborative Governance
One day seminar by Dr Madhav Mehra, President
World Council for Corporate Governance
Corporate governance has become an issue of worldwide importance. The catastrophic events of 11th September have brought into sharp focus the critical role that the corporates will have to play in bridging the gap between the winners and the losers as a consequence of globalization. The corporation has a key role to play in providing employment, public and private services, goods and infrastructure.  Whether the corporation is state or privately owned, needing local or international capital, governance is critical.  Good governance therefore has come to the top of the national and international agenda.  It is no longer simply a competitive differentiator but critical for the security and survival of the corporation.

4th World Congress on Environment Management
7-9 June 2002, Palampur, Himachal Pradesh, India
This is a very unique and exciting event organised by us jointly with various global organisations in Palampur, a small town, nestling in Himalayas’ most picturesque valley, from 7-9 June 2002. The theme of the Conference is “Sustainability through Good Governance”. The Congress will be inaugurated by the renowned Noble Laureate His Holiness the Dalai Lama who will also present the Golden Peacock Awards on Environment Management, Environmental Leadership and Life Time Achievement Award in Ecology.
